Jikuya
A 10-minute drive from Nakamatsu Train Station and surrounded by woods, guests at Sanroku no Yado Jikuya stay in private cottages with a terrace. Free parking is on-site and guests can sit out at the spacious garden, which has views of the surrounding mountains. The air-conditioned cottages come with a flat-screen TV, a fridge and an electric kettle with green tea bags. Guests can choose to stay in cottages with Japanese futon bedding or Western-style beds. The en suite bathroom features a bath with wooden decors. Jikuya Inn is a 30-minute drive from Mount Aso Ropeway Station and Aso Farm Land. Shirakawa Suigen Spring is a 15-minute drive and Hakusui hot-spring area is a 5-minute drive away. Japanese Yukata robes can be rented for an extra cost and drink vending machines are on-site. Rogu restaurant is in a cottage itself, and serves Western and Japanese dishes featuring local ingredients.
