Offering indoor/outdoor hot-spring baths and a sauna, Shogetsu Grand Hotel features Western and Japanese-style rooms with a view of the gorge. The hotel is located in the Jozankei hot-spring district and JR Sapporo Train Station is a 50-minute drive away. Free WiFi is available throughout the property. The air-conditioned rooms feature a flat-screen TV, a fridge, Japanese yukata robes and a safety deposit box. Guests can choose to stay in rooms with Western beds or Japanese futon bedding. A humidifier and an en suite bathroom are also included. Guests can get a soothing massage or relax in the shared lounge. Local products can be purchased at the souvenir shop and drink vending machines and a designated smoking area are on-site. The front desk is available 24/7. Traditional multi-course dinners and Japanese set breakfasts feature local vegetables and are served at the dining room. Grand Shogetsu Hotel is a 30-minute drive from Sapporo International Ski Resort and a 40-minute drive from Makomanai Country Club. Sapporo is a 60-minute drive away, while New Chitose Airport is a 100-minute drive away. Jozangensui Park is a 5-minute walk from the property.

Jozankei ONSEN (Jozankei Hot Springs) is one of the most historical place in Japan where was structured at Edo period. Shogetsu Grand Hotel is the only hotel where all guests can enjoy the fantastic valley view from their rooms. Our onsen (hot spring) will take your tiredness off and you will feel refresh and relax. In addition, you can enjoy Kaiseki dinner (banquet dishes) made with fresh seasonal ingredient. We have several types of rooms; you will find the suitable rooms for your stay.

You can find “Jozankei Gensen Park” where is 3-minute walk from our hotel. You will see the onsen fall, and will enjoy the ashi-yu (footbath). North Safari Sapporo is for all ages; you will meet many animals and you will love them! For all nature lovers, there are many activities in Jozankei which you can feel dynamic natures. For example rafting in summer, and skiing in winter.

To eat breakfast and/or dinner at the hotel, a reservation must be made at time of booking. Also, please inform the hotel in advance if you have booked 2 or more rooms and your group wishes to have dinner at the same time. Please note that requests on the day of arrival will not be accepted.

By bus: Take the bus bound for either Jozankei or Hoheikyo-onsen from Sapporo Station's Bus Terminal 12. Get off at Jozankei Jinja Mae bus stop, about 80 minutes from Sapporo Station. Kappa Liner express bus is also available from the station. The property is a 2-minute walk from the bus stop.

By car: Drive for about 60 minutes towards Nakayama-toge from Sapporo City.
