A stand alone chalet with the best views in the Hakuba Valley. There is a park over the road that also has amazing views looking over Hakuba. A semi outdoor onsen styled bath also boosts amazing views of the Japanese northern Alps and Happo ski field and its popular backcountry. Tea and coffee will be supplied. Breakfast supplied between December 15 and March 1st. Please note we only accept a maximum of 8 people in the winter months, December 15 to March 1st.
Hamon is an accommodation company with properties in Hakuba and Otari, Nagano, Japan. Properties include Hamon (hamonyado) a ski in ski out lodge slopeside at Tsugaike ski resort and Wakuraba, a private chalet with the best views in Hakuba in Donguri, above Happo.
The property is private and situated on the top of Donguri mura and has no neighbours. Next to the house is a viewpoint of Hakuba and there is a park that you can use to relax with friends and family during the green season. The park is called Donguri Panorama Lookout. There is parking at the chalet but on very snowy days you may be required to park 70 metres below the house and walk to the chalet. There is a shuttle service included in the booking in winter months (December 7 to March 1st). We will show you parking options on arrival but will not take responsibility for any cars that are stuck in the snow.
