About Us My name is Mirbek. I’m a professional English-speaking guide and driver, organizing private tours around Kyrgyzstan. Our yurt camp is a family-run business where we warmly welcome guests and offer an authentic experience of nomadic life, nature, and culture. My mother is the heart of our camp. She hosts our guests with great care and speaks German and a little English. With us, you’ll feel like part of the family — enjoying homemade traditional meals, learning about local customs, and hearing our family stories. We take a personal approach to every guest. In our yurt camp, we strive to maintain a balance between the authenticity of nomadic culture and modern comfort, offering guests the opportunity to enjoy the natural beauty, traditional cuisine, and the true spirit of nomadic life.

Our yurt camp is conveniently located on the northern shore of Lake Son-Kul, just 16 km from the Kalmak-Ashuu Pass. This is one of the most accessible areas, especially when coming from Kochkor or Naryn, making our camp a perfect stop along the route. On the map, you can clearly see a narrow strip of land jutting out into the lake, often referred to as the “bridge-island” due to its shape. Our camp is situated right near this unique and scenic part of the shoreline.
