Surrounded by tropical gardens, Babel Siem Reap Guesthouse in Wat Bo is just 3 minutes' walk from the Siem Reap River and Royal Residence. Guests can enjoy meals at the in-house restaurant or have a drink at the bar. Free WiFi is available throughout the property. Tuk Tuk drivers are well-equipped with local knowledge and tuk tuk services are available at additional charges. Babel Guesthouse is run with an active focus on Responsible Tourism. We constantly seek to provide benefits from the tourism industry to the local community in Siem Reap, and we are doing our best to cause as little damage as possible to the area in which we operate. We only hire local staff, drivers and guides.We sponsor all our staff and some of our Tuk Tuk drivers with higher education. They all receive plenty of training, good working conditions, fair salaries and flexible working hours to enable the staff to continue their education. We buy our food for the restaurant at the local market, and we support good projects in town that actively focus on Responsible Tourism. We at Babel Guesthouse are looking forward to give you memories for life!

We have now taken our environmental initiatives a step further and are proud to present our newly opened Eco-shop and refill station here at Babel. Enjoy plastic free shopping by bringing your empty containers and fill up your travel necessities like shampoo, conditioner and mosquito repellent. We also have a range of locally made sustainable products. Norwegian owned and managed, located in the charming Wat-Bo area of Siem Reap, only 15 minutes away from the majestic temples of Angkor Wat. The wonderful staff at Babel Guesthouse possess great local knowledge that we are more than happy to share with you to make your stay in Siem Reap memorable. Our local drivers and guides have worked for Babel Guesthouse for many years, and we can assure you they will be there for you, wherever you would like to go and whatever you would like to do during your stay at Babel.

Babel Guesthouse is situated in a charming little street, away from the noisy city center. In the neighborhood you can find mini-marts, coffee shops, local restaurants and even a craft beer pub. It is a very nice walk along the riverside from Babel to town. You could also choose to walk the other way, and within 5 minutes you are in the charming coutryside. We also have a local pagoda within walking distance from Babel, where you can receive a blessing from the monks. You can also always choose to take a Tuk Tuk anywhere. We have 14 lovely Tuk Tuk drivers here at Babel. They are more than happy to be at your service anytime, and they possess great great local knowledge that we are more than happy to share with you to make your stay in Siem Reap memorable.
