Hello, this is your host from Casa Blue. Casa Blue is a charming blue private house (entire home) located just a 5-minute walk from Hwangridan-gil, in a quiet alley in central Gyeongju. Guests have exclusive use of the entire house, including both the 1st and 2nd floors, ensuring full privacy with no shared spaces. The 1st floor features a warm and cozy kitchen and living area, perfect for simple cooking, coffee time, reading, or relaxing. The 2nd floor is a spacious and bright lounge/bedroom area that comfortably accommodates couples, families, or friends traveling together. The second floor is a cozy loft-style space, and the stairs can be a bit steep, so please use caution when going up. Once upstairs, the ceiling is high enough to move around comfortably. There have been no major issues so far, but we simply recommend using the stairs with care. The Wi-Fi connection is very strong and stable, and most guests have been highly satisfied. (A recent single low score may affect the displayed rating, but the actual quality is excellent.) While on-site parking is not available, several public parking lots are located within a few minutes’ walk. Major attractions such as Hwangridan-gil, Daereungwon, and Cheomseongdae are also nearby, making Casa Blue ideal for travelers who enjoy exploring on foot. In addition, we offer a Korean Cooking Class for foreign guests (available at an additional cost). This small, hands-on experience uses local ingredients and regional recipes. Casa Blue is just a 5-minute walk from Hwangridan-gil, making it easy to explore Gyeongju’s most popular sights on foot. The neighborhood is full of cafés, restaurants, and small shops, offering everything you need during your stay. Major attractions such as Hwangridan-gil, Daereungwon Tomb Complex, Cheomseongdae Observatory, Gyerim Forest, and Gyochon Hanok Village are all within a 5–15 minute walk, allowing you to enjoy both history and local culture at a relaxed pace. Within a short drive, you can also visit Woljeonggyo Bridge, Banwolseong Fortress, Bunhwangsa Temple, and the Gyeongju National Museum. Famous spots such as Bulguksa Temple, Seokguram Grotto, and Bomun Lake are also about 15–20 minutes by car. The area offers a wide variety of cafés, brunch places, and traditional Korean restaurants, especially around Hwangridan-gil, which is very popular among both locals and international travelers. Whether it is your first time in Gyeongju or a return visit, staying at Casa Blue allows you to explore the city easily and comfortably by foot, public transport, or car.
