Arhimser Villa, in Ranna, Tangalle has direct access to the beach 20 meters away. Built on an acre of prime beachfront land, all four 42 sqm bedrooms with ensuite and sea views have AC and WIFI. The villa accommodates 8 and 1 extra bed at USD 40 in each of 2 rooms can be added. The gardens are beautifully landscaped with a lovely pool, cabana, lawns, fragrant frangipani, water lilies, mango and coconut trees and rare natural fauna and vegetation making it a hidden gem ensconced midst the serenity of nature. The lounge and dining area and bedrooms provide a magnificent view of the ocean and pool. We have two excellent chefs who prepare western, Asian and local meals to suit your palate, meals are priced upwards of USD10, snacks, soups, salads, entrees, vegetarian, gluten and lactose free and kids meals and deserts priced upwards of USD 4. The staff live on the premises in the staff quarters 20 meters away. The land boundaries of the premises are fenced with CCTV installed externally to cover the area outside the boundary, thus ensuring security and privacy. For electricity back up, a 30 kva auto switchover generator is installed though barely used. This deposit is refundable, if guest cancels the reservation before 30 days of arrival.

We do not sell liquor or wines but guests are welcome to bring their own supplies for consumption at the villa at no extra cost. The villa is exclusively for the use of the residents and outsiders including tour guides and drivers are not allowed to use the premises. The Southern coastline where the villa is located is the most popular tourist belt in the country. The largest two game parks Yala and Udawalawe, surfing, snorkeling, diving and swimming beaches, the UNESCO listed Heritage City of Galle, the whale and dolphin beaches, the turtle hatcheries and the blow hole, the hill town of Ella with its cool climate, the famous Ravana waterfall, the 9 arches railway bridge and the tea plantations are all within easy access. There are a number of beautiful beaches in the neighborhood, The beach outside the villa is very pristine with clear waters and a wide, un-spoilt shoreline. During the high season and other times when the sea is calm, the sea is swimmable. The largest game reserves in Sri Lanka, Uda Walawe, Lunugamvehera and Yala are roughly a 90-120 minute drive. The International Golf Resort is a 20 minutes drive. There are plenty of surf, snorkeling and swimming beaches in the neighborhood where sea bathing is safe during most of the year. The popular and well known Kalametiya Bird Sanctuary is a 10 minute drive where a boat ride in the lake you will sight a variety of bird life. The Bundala Bird Sanctuary a 70 minute drive. A visit to the local markets, participate with the fishermen drawing their nets with the day's catch using traditional fishing techniques, watch the fishermen catching prawns at dusk in the lagoon 100 meters away. Fresh lagoon prawns, crabs and lobster dishes can be prepared if advance notice is given. We have secured special rates for vehicles from outside service suppliers for day trips to the UNESCO listed Heritage City of Galle, the game reserves Yala and Udawalawe, the elephant orphanage, Mirissa and Dikwella for whale and dolphin sightings and the surf and snorkeling and diving beaches in the neighborhood. Walking tours, visit a rice field, see turtles come ashore at dusk at Turtle beach 4 kilometres away. On a full moon night enjoy a BBQ of fresh sea food or a meat grill gazing at the stars sipping a cocktail. The popular hill town of Ella with its nine arches railway bridge, cool climate, the Ravana waterfalls, the tea plantations and the walking treks through the rolling mountains and valleys with its magnificent fauna and flora is a day trip. Turtle beach is a short distance away from the villa and there are other beaches within close access like Hiriketiya and Unawathune where one can swim with the turtles. The famous Katharagama religious festival is held in August where devotees from all over the island participate in amazing rituals including fire walking, dancing to the rhythm of the drums and invoking the blessings of the Gods. A cultural experience like no other.
