Opened in 1968 by the former deputy mayor of Galle, Mrs N.D. Wijenayake, also known to her friends as Sita, we are still a family-run business.

Beach Haven Guest House (Mrs Wijenayake's Guest House) is located in Galle just 400 metres from the ancient Galle Fort. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Recognized by UNESCO for its cultural heritage value, the Fort was declared a World Heritage Site in 1988 as a unique exposition of "an urban ensemble which illustrates the interaction of European architecture and South Asian traditions from the 16th to the 19th centuries."
