Ohiya is a rural village located in Badulla District of Uva Province, Sri Lanka. It is situated 11kms from the Horton Plains National Park and only 30 minutes drive by car or Tuk Tuk. Ohiya is surrounded by natural forest reserve and is peaceful, quiet and beautiful village that has many interesting things to see and do. The picturesque Colombo -Badulla Railyway runs through Ohiya and is 1 1/2 hours travel time by train from Ella.
