Hanthana is quite neighborhood filled with lush greenery. Walks can be taken around the neighborhood listening the birds and sounds from the nearby forest. You can find areas from where you can see the whole of the Kandy city and the surrounding. It is far enough from the Kandy city making it easily accessible and away from the noisy busy streets. Nearby is also the National Tea Museum which is only a 1 km away and its definitely worth a visit!
