Steps from Udawalawe National Park, Kottawatta Village offers a peaceful and scenic getaway from the city and night camping. Free Wi-Fi is available in public areas. The on-site Rose Restaurant serves Western, Chinese and Sri Lankan food. While some rooms are fitted with air conditioning. En suite bathrooms have either a shower or a bathtub. Kottawatta Village is 1 km from Udawalawe Bus Station and a 5-minute drive from Udawalawe Junction. Katunayake International Airport is 150 km away. Parking is free. At the tour desk, guests can arrange day trips to Madunagala Hot Springs, Wavulpanae Lime Stone Cave and Panamure Maduwanwela Walauwwa. Regular barbecue nights are also organised by the resort.
