Located in the heart of city of Kandy, Orchard Home offers tranquil and comfortable accommodation with free WiFi access in its rooms and public areas. It features a restaurant (homemade Sri-Lankan and Western food, BBQ facilities) . It also offers one time free pick up from Kandy bus stand/railway station. The property is just 2.5 km from Kandy Railway Station, Kandy Bus Station and City Centre and 3 km from Bogambara Stadium. The Temple of the Toothe Relic is also 3 km away (10min by tuk-tuk). Walking distance to ATM, supermarket, beauty salon, pub. Offering views of lush green mountains, fan-cooled rooms come with a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, private bathrooms with hot water. Staff at Orchard Home can assist guests with bicycle/car rental, tickets booking, laundry services and tour arrangements. Housing a restaurant, guests can sample a tasty selection of local dishes on site. Special diet meals can be prepared upon request and room service is available. Cooking classes followed by a dinner are available on 1-2 day notice.

The Hanthana Mountain Range and Udawattekale Forest Reserve provide great opportunities for fans of trekking. Fishing in the Mahaweli River can also arranged.
