We are a mixed family Swiss Sri Lanka, with two teenagers. Severine lives in Sri Lanka for nearly 20 years. We will welcome you in English, French (Severine) and Sinhala (Daya). We are here to help you to fulfil your wishes and make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. We will be pleased to answer any of your questions. Being a mix family opens our eyes on both worlds. We open this listing to be able to meet people from around the world. As we can't afford to travel around the world, it is a great way to meet other nationalities. It is so interesting to understand the world by meeting others.

Patini is a small guesthouse with a few bungalows. Each bungalow has one room with an attached bathroom and a veranda. Its bungalows and beach palm garden are spacious and comfortable. Its location between a stunning endless wide beach and a mangrove makes the atmosphere peaceful and natural. Over the years, our guests suggested improvements we followed. Patini is now a comfortable place where you will feel welcomed and relaxed. Small facilities (common fridge, water dispenser, tea, coffee, drinks, ice creams, biscuits, feet shower, beach shower, sun beds, hammocks, library, games, toys...) are available to make your stay easy and relaxing. Patini and Tangalle are surrounded by beautiful and natural sceneries (ocean, wide and endless beach, bays, lagoons ponds and lakes, mangroves with galleries, paddy fields, marshlands, Blow Hole). These sceneries are perfect for relaxing and energising activities (waves playing, jogging, beach walking, kayaking, boating, bicycling, birdwatching (by bicycle and boat), nature watching, diving, reading, meditating, yoga, massage…). Many of these activities can be done by walk from Patini. We will help you to fulfil your wishes.

Tangalle is a perfect location to discover Sri Lankan cultures. Its harbour, markets, shops, local town and temples will show you the local life. We will be happy to explain you the local life and customs. Natural highlights are sea turtles nesting, birds sanctuary and Blow Hole within 45 minutes' drive. Safaris (Uda Walawa, Bundala and Yala) are at 1h30 drive. Birds Park, Dry Zone Botanical Garden and Ridiyagama Safari are at 1h drive. Cultural highlights are Mulkirigala Rock Temple (a small Dambulla Cave Temple) and Wewurukanala Temple with its tallest seated Buddha and Tunnel of Hell. Many other ancient and serene temples are within 30 minutes' drive. We will organize the visits or help you to organize the visits by ourselves.
