The small bedroom is on the second floors with an open air concept to fully appreciate the views and the breeze. From the top floor, there are magnificent views of the green sugarcane fields and the surrounding mountains. This is the perfect place for yoga at sunrise, kite flying and a drink at sunset as the birds fly home to roost. The Bawa inspired design applies the principles of "Tropical Modernism", allowing for the sounds and sensations of nature to sooth your soul.

Takimi Mini Villa is a good base for exploring Diyaluma waterfall, Elle Wala waterfall and the Buduruwagala Buddha statue. Ask Bindu about the secret waterfall and other hidden gems around Wellawaya. At the crossroads to Ella, Arugam Bay, Haputale and the southern coast, Wellawaya is a convenient stopover or better yet, a base to spend a leisurely 3-4 days.
