I started my hotel carrier as a waiter in 1981 at the down south. In 1984 I started working for hotel Galadari Meridian for 10 years, Marriott and finally galadari hotel until I retirement in 2017. I have worked as srilankan restaurant manager coffee shop manager Bar manager for 15 years and end up my carrier as food and beverage training Manager for galadari hotel.
I specialize in wine and cocktail making. Under my guidance galadari hotel won all island Marie brizard cocktail competition in 2013,first runners up in 2014 and and won all island mixology challenge in 2016,
In Marie brizard Asia Pacific cocktail competition we got 8the place from 16 competitors.
In 2016 Marie brizard mixology challenge in Bordeaux France. Srilanka own 21St place out of 46 counties.
At the chefs guild won 4 gold medals in 2015 and 2 gold medals in 2017.

The Misty Mountain is located on the Colombo-Badulla Road at 170 km from Colombo. Very peaceful location and close to nature. Lots of birds including wild fowls in close vicinity.
View is beautiful mountain range of Ohiya and Idalgashinna.
Area suddenly gets cover with the mist.

The Misty Mountain guest house is located at the foot of the ohiya Mountain range. Area is serounded by the Mountain range. Close to srilanka's tallest water fall Babarakanda, and some of the beautiful water falls such as Surathali falls. Historically important adisam banglow now converted to monastery and world known lipton's Seat reachable with in an hour.
Sit and have your breakfast over looking ohiya Mountain range.
Listen to birds singing and enjoy the relax holiday
