I am Anitha Wijetunge, the owner of Arcadia Resort. I was an English Language teacher working for the Department of Education Sri Lanka. I really enjoy meeting people and helping them when needed. I try my best to look after my guests, from arrival till departure.

Arcadia resort is situated close to the heart of the Hikkaduwa. It is a few minutes walk to the railway station, bus station and all the other amenities. Arcadia is a calm and peaceful resort, but within easy walking distance of the beach, restaurants, shops and bars. It has a nice swimming pool, mini library, large garden with fruit trees and flowers. You can enjoy night life here and visit places like Dutch fort, in the city of Galle, turtle farms, gem and moonstone mines, river safari and glass bottom boats to see corals and beautiful fish. Guests like my property, as they can relax and enjoy their holiday as they expected.

Arcadia resort is surrounded by many shops and super markets. You can find many restaurants , burger places, pizza hut and many authentic food restaurants. Glass bottom boats to see corals and beautiful fish, turtle farms, surfing lessons, and very nice beach for kids to play and swim. Gem and jewellery shops and moonstone mines are very close by. Dutch fort in Galle city is 20 minutes drive. There are Ayurveda spas which you can get very effective natural herbal treatments for your aches and pains, and yoga centers, meditation centers and gyms withing 5 minutes walk.
