The dwelling is situated within a privately-owned residence (built in 2010) located along the coastal region of Preila village, overlooking the Curonian lagoon from a distance of 15 meters. The housing structure exemplifies the authentic architectural style of the Curonian Spit, in accordance with traditional fisherman's design. Guests are cordially invited to relax upon the outdoor terrace or meadow, which directly faces the lagoon itself.
Greetings, my name is Uwe and I have resided in Preila with my family for over 20 years. We inhabit a traditional fisherman-style residence on the Curonian Spit, where we reside throughout the year. In addition to offering rental accommodations, we also provide guided tours of the Curonian Spit and the Klaipeda region. During the summer season, I also conduct lectures on the renowned author Thomas Mann, held at his summer residence in Nida, Lithuania.
The Vecekrug Apartments, situated by the shore of the Curonian Lagoon, are in close proximity to one of the most beautiful locations on the entire island. The apartments boast a large garden, picnic area, and grilling area for your enjoyment. You can reach the Lyra restaurant within approximately 2 minutes on foot. Within a 10-minute walk, you will find the bus stop that runs regularly to Nida and Klaipeda, as well as once per day to Kaunas and Vilnius. Additionally, there is a grocery store operating during the summer season that can be reached within a 15-minute walk.
