Opened in 2008, the Hotel Edvards is a family-run hotel in a quiet part of Riga's centre, just 3 blocks away from the historic old town. The Riga Congress Cente is just 600 metres away, while Arena Riga is 2 km from the property. Free WiFi is provided. Rooms at Edvards are decorated in warm colours and each comes with a TV with cable channels, a minibar and a private bathroom with a shower and heated floors. Breakfast is served at the hotel every morning and coffee, tea and other drinks are available all day long. The location of the hotel allows for easy access to nearby museums, art galleries, the Skonto Hall and Arena Riga, as well as trendy shops, restaurants and cafés. The hotel is located in a 19th-century building that was renovated in 2008, preserving the historic architectural style, yet creating modern conveniences and comfortable rooms with a friendly ambience. The Freedom Monument is 750 metres away.
