Freshly built cabin house surrounded by the forest and 10 min. walk from the white and sandy beach. Kesterciems is a small fisherman village that has turned into a silent summer vacation spot. Here you will find a wonderfully white beach surrounded by a green pine forest with berries and mushrooms. Engure is the closest small city with more restaurants and famous Engure nature park where you can check out wild horses, cows and observe birds in a specially built bird observation tower. IMPORTANT: We follow strict no-alcohol policy.
Nature lover and a father of 5 I do enjoy spending most of my time in nature or travelling. I also kiteboard when the conditions and the wind direction is right.
The place is surrounded by an untouched pine forest and overall silence and birds songs are the 2 first things you will notice upon arriving. Kesterciems like all other tiny villges near the coastline gets alive during the summer. Locals and guests who enjoy more private and peacful vacations with lved ones ora a family try to move further away fom places like Jurmala or Saulkrasti that gets crowded during summer. Here the time goes at a slower pace and you can enjoy more peaceful stay at replenish your energy levels from the nature, sea and smiling people.
