My name is Hassan Ait Bounacer, born and raised in the heart of the Atlas Mountains, in the village of Imlil, the gateway to Mount Toubkal and just an hour from the vibrant city of Marrakech. Growing up among these majestic peaks, I developed a deep connection to the mountains, their rugged beauty, and the rich Amazigh traditions that have shaped my family for generations. As a child, our home welcomed travelers and backpackers venturing into the Atlas, giving me the joy of hosting and sharing stories with people from around the world. I also had the privilege of exploring Morocco alongside my father from camping beneath the star filled skies of the Atlas Mountains to witnessing sunrises over jagged peaks and hiking trails that tested both body and spirit. Now, I warmly invite you to come visit us, stay in our family home, and experience the authentic Berber lifestyle. Enjoy traditional Amazigh hospitality, taste home-cooked meals, and immerse yourself in the rhythms and culture of the Atlas Mountains.
