Welcome! My name is Franco, originally from Italy. My wife is local to this beautiful region, and together we’ve created a peaceful retreat in the village of Mokrine, near Herceg Novi. We lived for many years in UK, and now we’ve settled here to enjoy a slower, more nature-connected way of life — and to share it with guests from around the world. We give our best to be helpfull and react fast on any possible issues you might have. We love hosting because it gives us the chance to meet new people and help them discover the hidden beauty of Montenegro. I’m passionate about cooking, especially using fresh, local ingredients, and my wife enjoys gardening and creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere around the house. The neighborhood is quiet, with just a few friendly families living nearby, which adds to the safe, relaxed, and community feel of the area. Nature is all around you here. One of our favorite features is a lovely, shaded road lined with trees — perfect for a morning walk or a peaceful afternoon stroll. Just a 2.5 km hike from the house takes you to Vidov Vrh, a stunning viewpoint where you can see across the mountains and even out to the sea on clear days. It’s a local favorite and well worth the walk! One of the best parts about staying here is the ideal location — close to both the Adriatic coast and the Bosnian border. We're only a short drive from the charming city of Trebinje (Bosnia and Herzegovina), as well as Tivat and Kotor Bay in Montenegro. If you're arriving by plane, both Tivat Airport and Dubrovnik Airport (Croatia) are easily reachable, making travel convenient from several directions. Whether you want to explore different countries, enjoy the sea, or relax in fresh mountain air, Mokrine is a unique starting point for an unforgettable trip.
