Our Host Family flat is located in one of the oldest and most traditional neighborhoods of Sliema. Originally, the area was almost exclusively inhabited by fishermen, as although it is located in the historic center, it stands completely on the sea, alternating with marvelous bays that have allowed the creation of the longest seaside promenade on the whole island. The host family flat is located one minute from the promenade and two minutes walk from the enchanting Balluta Bay, where the wonderful Romanesque neo-gothic style church overlooks the sandy beach of Sliema. Unique in its kind, Balluta Bay is an area that blends the sacred and the profane in an embrace that has generated a unique and incomparable place. In fact, you can relax on the only sandy beach in Sliema or swim in the crystal clear waters that bathe the entire area and then decide to taste one of the typical dishes of Maltese or international tradition in one of the numerous seafront terraces that populate the area. Protecting this wonderful bay stands the majestic Carmelite church, which at sunset projects its silhouette into the waters of the bay. In the immediate vicinity of the flat, you can find everything you may need. Less than 30 meters away is a well-stocked grocery store that also offers home delivery service, less than 100 meters away you can find a fantastic artisan bakery, a traditional Sicilian bar with traditional desserts, numerous restaurants (Neapolitan Italian Pizzeria, Indian cuisine, typical Maltese cuisine, Sushi bar, Mexican, Italian cuisine, a well-known fish restaurant in the area, and also a fantastic BBQ restaurant, and many more). - The host family flat is located one minute from the promenade - The host family flat is two minutes walk from the enchanting Balluta Bay - The host family flat is three minutes away from ‘The Baths of Sliema’: Victorian’s pools. - The bus stop is less than 1 minute from the flat right on the promenade.
