Located on the 2nd floor of a historic palazzo in Old Bakery Street, you'll be just steps away from the bustling Republic Street and all the museums, palaces, wine bars, restaurants, and shops that make Valletta such a special place. Despite its central location, the apartment is fully air-conditioned for a comfortable and peaceful stay. The open plan living and dining area features a balcony overlooking Old Bakery Street and comes equipped with a fully equipped kitchen, two double bedrooms, and two bathrooms with showers. Additional amenities include a washing machine, ironing facilities, LCD TV with cable service, and high-speed WiFi, all offered on a complimentary basis. With the bus terminus just a 5-minute walk away, exploring all that Malta has to offer is a breeze. Whether you're a couple or a family with children, this is the perfect holiday rental to call home in sunny Malta. We would like to inform you that there is ongoing maintenance work being carried out in the building. Specifically, we are in the process of repairing the lift. As a result, some noise and dust may be present during this time. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding as we strive to improve our facilities. Valletta's 16th-century buildings were constructed by the Knights of the order of St. John – ‘’ a city built by gentlemen for gentlemen’’. Valletta was named after, the Grand Master, Jean Parisot de la Valette, who succeeded in defending the island from an Ottoman invasion in 1565. The city is a masterpiece of Baroque, with elements of Mannerist, Neo-Classical and Modern architecture, though the Second World War left major scars on the city, particularly the destruction of the Royal Opera House. The city is officially recognised as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO and a European Art City.
