We have MAGNIFICENT SEAVIEWS OF MELLIEHA BAY, both from seafront terrace and also from kitchen/dining/living room, thus making it ideal for breaks in the cooler months as well, as you can still enjoy the sea views which are right on your doorstep. Large apartment, bright and airy with 2 bedrooms. Matrimonial bed is extra large at 160 cm wide X 200 cm long and also comes with a topper for extra comfort, and the single beds are each 90 cm wide X 200 cm long. All mattresses are new. Both bedrooms have large south-facing windows which let in bright sunlight. Another 2 single beds exist in a sleeping area/corridor for the 5th/6th person, in which case one would have to pay an additional small fee per person per night. Just changed bedroom, sitting room furniture, redecorated the front façade, fixed a lift, and seafront terrace railing is now in glass so as not to obstruct our idyllic sea views. Now installed Air-conditioners (Payable at a few cents per kWh consumed, for which we ask for an Upfront Refundable Deposit). They provide heat in winter and cool air in summer. We ALWAYS REFUND BEFORE DEPARTURE. Air-Conditioners are a must in Malta, especially in winter and summer. Mellieha has been rewarded the: EUROPEAN DESTINATION OF EXCELLENCE. Should you require a GYM or Outdoor or Heated Indoor Pool, there are 2 places within walking distance, where you can enrol for a day or a week or more, for a small fee. They accept non-residents, thus you can combine our Unbeatable Superb Water's Edge Location, with features which are usually found in larger businesses.

My parents have been in the holiday apartment business for the past 40 years. However now I am in charge of the apartments myself. I love to travel and visit new places around the world. When my daughter was still a child, I used to watch her swim from the seafront terrace of the apartment, sometimes not even having to go down to the bay myself, whilst I would be cooking. We have spent many of our summer holidays in this most loved SEAFRONT apartment of ours. My parents also have apartments in Bugibba, but our Mellieha Bay apartments were always our preferred choice for our summer holidays. My family have 2 boats, usually used to go fishing, or swimming in nearby Comino. My father is the one who bought this glorious piece of land years ago, and we are EXTREMELY LUCKY and PROUD to own this area. Our neighbourhood is the Number 1 Top Sandy beach of Malta - called Mellieha Bay, which is 1.5 km long with plenty of space to sunbathe and crystal-clear waters to swim in. Mellieha Bay has also been rewarded the BLUE FLAG BEACH AWARD, so it is safe to swim and constantly monitored for cleanliness and clarity. If coming in the cooler months, you can enjoy coastal walks, as we are ideally located and you can hike from the apartment to many different seascapes such as: Watch Towers Walk, Armier and Little Armier Bay, Paradise Bay, Ramla Bay, Il-Majjistral Walk, Xemxija Heritage Walk, Bugibba Promenade Walk, Wardija Walk and other countryside walks, such as il-Qammiegh, and Selmun. A visit to St. Agatha's Red Tower is a must as it enjoys 360 degrees sea views over the islands of Gozo, the island of Comino and also Mellieha Bay - one of the best views on the island, and we are only 30 minutes walk away from St. Agatha's Tower, that is why our apartments are called 56 "Tower View". Popeye Village is only 30 minutes walk away, and it can also be reached by a nearby bus 101. We are also very close to Cirkewwa, 5 minutes drive away, from where you board the ship to island of Gozo so it is easy to visit our other islands from our locality. You can also visit the island of Comino by taking one of the boat trips offered at Mellieha Bay, very close to the apartment only 100 meters away. The Malta Aquarium in Qawra, is only 30 minutes bus drive away. For guests interested in diving courses, nearby Seashell Dive Centre gives various courses, and provide various dives, including wreck diving, junior diving, padi courses, and boat charters. Nearby Oh Yeah also offers WATER SPORTS, & CRUISES ROUND MALTA. Good Restaurants are within easy walking distance: Il Pirata, Blu Beach, Amami, Munchies and Noras. Commando (Michelin Star) & Il-Mithna are up in Mellieha Village. Should you want to visit other towns and villages by bus, Tunnara Bus Stop is only 50 metres up the road.
