One can find two direct buses from Malta International Airport to Birzebbugia which are numbers X4 and 119. Another two direct buses to Birzebbugia from Valletta (Malta’s Capital City) are numbers 82 or 80, which will stop you directly to Pretty Bay. Apart from the beautiful sandy beach Birzebbugia is also famous for it’s archeological sites ‘Borg In-Nadur’ and Ghar Dalam’. Route 210 is another bus route which passes trough Marsaxlokk ( Malta’s famous fishing village) famous for local fish restaurants and for the Sunday market. Just 30 minutes by walk one can find the famous picturesque beaches of St.Peter’s Pool and Kalanka Bay.The same route (210) leads you directly to Mater Dei Hospital. Close to Birzebbugia , Route 119 will lead you directly to Marsascala, another seaside town with a beautiful promenade where one can find restaurants and cafes to choose from.
