NEIGHBOURHOOD The Complex is located on the East side of the island, nestled on the beach between some of the most luxurious hotels in the world. Solana, Long Beach, Constance Belle Mare and the St Geran One and Only hotels, the LUX and Residence hotels and especially their famous golf courses. You can follow the beach on either direction for long walks with the waves lapping your feet or jogging under the shade of the Casuarinas. Belle Mare plage is one of the best beaches in Mauritius. It is more private and less crowded than the other main beaches. Since it is less built up, it has kept more of the wild beauty that characterises Mauritius. The stretches of sand are punctuated by amalgams of black volcanic rocks; it is not uncommon to find local fishermen with a line dipped in the sea. The village of Trou d’Eau Douce and the town of Centre de Flacq are 15 minute’s drive away. Trou d’eau douce is a typical Mauritian Village with charming seaside snacks and Restaurants. Flacq at 25 minutes by car is not less typical, in the contrary livelier with its large daily bazar. You will also find a huge Supermarket including food courts and Mc Donald, Kentucky, Pizza, Cafés ect. Subject to booking a reservation, you can have lunch at one of the luxury hotels close to the complex either through a short walk on the beach or a short drive away. 2 local Restaurants, one Mauritian Indian, the other Chinese are 100 meters walking distance only.
