The easiest way is to hire a water cab at the marina. The captain will take you on an informative tour of the diving areas around the arch (El Arco), show you Lover’s Beach, and then cruise around the popular point, from where you'll have a magnificent view of the dramatic area where the Sea of Cortez meets the Pacific Ocean. We recommend packing a lunch of your choice and some water and spending most of the day enjoying Lover’s Beach and the impressive wind and water-shaped rock formations. Ask your skipper to pick you up at a specific time. Be extra careful here, as the strong waves and currents of the Pacific make swimming quite dangerous. Swimming and snorkeling should only be attempted on the Sea of Cortez side of Lover’s Beach. The Arch: The famous stone arch at Land’s End, Cabo San Lucas. El Arco in particular is now symbolically synonymous with Cabo San Lucas, just as White Cliffs are to Dover or the Rock is to Gibraltar.
