The house is located in one of the most traditional neighborhoods in the Historical Center of Mérida and is just 20 minutes' walk from the downtown. The house preserves its old style with thick walls and high ceilings, combining modern features that make it comfortable and cozy. It has 3 air-conditioned rooms with queen beds; a room with a single bed and a hammock; a living room with a TV; dining room; kitchen; 2 bathrooms; and a half bathroom in the patio with an outdoor shower; and a xucum pool that makes the water look like a cenote, the best place where you can cool off on those hot days. Our house is for everybody, 2SLGBTQ+ community are very welcome!

I am a social anthropologist and I am very passionate about knowing places, cultures and people. I have had the experience of being a guest in different places and now I want to be the host and offer a pleasant experience in my own home.

The Barrio de Santiago is one of the oldest in the city. It was organized as such since the founding of the city in 1542 and served to concentrate and house the indigenous Mayan population found by the Spanish living in what were the ruins of the ancient Mayan city of T'Hó, during the process of conquest of Yucatan. The neighborhood has its own central square. In front of the church there is a traditional market with fresh local products. There is also a variety of gastronomic venues, shops and even a cinema! A great attraction in the El Parque de Santiago is its beautiful water fountain surrounded by shade trees and a large concrete area that is used on several occasions as a dance floor because on Tuesday nights, the Santiago Mérida park is transformed into rhythm of live music. Musical Memories are a classic on Tuesday nights in the Barrio de Santiago. Its origins go back more than four decades and it is a public event much loved by residents and a tourist attraction for many foreigners. The architectural heritage is another stronghold of the Santiago neighborhood.
