Coral Beach Loft is located in Kampung Genting, the first village where the ferry from Mersing stops on the western side of Tioman Island. Situated right above local eateries and just steps from the beach, the loft offers sweeping ocean views that blend into the horizon.
Access & Location
Kampung Genting is only accessible by ferry or boat transfer.
There are no roads linking Genting to other villages. The only way to reach the nearest village, Kampung Paya, is by a 30–45 minute jungle trek.
Bicycles and motorbikes are used only within Kampung Genting, as there are no connecting roads.
This is an island guest room, not a full-service hotel.
The room is cleaned before check-in, and basic cleaning tools are provided during your stay.

Coral Beach Loft is located above a local eatery, right along the island’s main path – a vibrant yet peaceful spot. The neighbourhood has a relaxed island vibe, with occasional cheerful chatter from children playing nearby and gentle activity from passing visitors. The beach is just steps away, and guests are welcome to enjoy the coastline that stretches around the island – perfect for sunbathing, swimming, snorkelling, diving, or simply watching the sunset while listening to the calming sound of the waves.
This island is a well-known tourist destination, and the area offers a unique blend of local charm and natural beauty. Some locals are very friendly, especially with domestic tourists; for international guests, interaction might depend on the individual, as language barriers can sometimes make communication a bit limited. However, visitors will generally be greeted with warm smiles and a welcoming atmosphere.
