Designed and hand built with love, Moonriver Lodge was established as an earthly home for the pioneers and their family as they live and work on the land. The kitchen gardens are a result of various experiments using Permaculture & natural farming. You can enjoy our garden harvest in your breakfast or meals. Food Forest Farm is located next to our lodge and we get the freshest safe good food produce of vegetables and fruits, which are grown hydroponically and organic. The fresh hand-picked produce is available for purchase directly from our farm. Please approach the Reception desk for a price list and order in advance. IMPORTANT! 1) We are a farmstay and we sleep early. Please call/send a message to inform if you are arriving late and we'll brief you on how to get in. Arrive before 7pm if possible as our gates close at 10pm. Self check in procedure will apply after 7pm and we'll see you in the morning! 2) We are a bed & breakfast. All activities and meals MUST be booked in advance except for breakfast. 3) Your room HAS NOT BEEN PAID. Please pay in CASH Ringgit upon check in. Sigar Highlands is located in Lojing, Kelantan, a subdistrict of Gua Musang. We are along the Jalan Gua Musang road which goes all the way to Kota Bahru. We are extremely close to the Orang Asli settlements, the Pos Brooke school and the Lojing protected jungles where you can see the Rafflesia Kerrii. There is Lojing hot springs nearby but poorly maintained. From our lodge to Gua Musang, it is approximately 1 hour drive. Coming from Simpang Pulai, at the intersection to Cameron Highlands, please DO NOT turn right. Go straight on towards Blue Valley and Lojing. We are off the traffic jams which is a bonus! On your way up, there is a BHP Petrol station, Pelase top up your fuel here as the next fuel stop is Shell station in Brinchang. The nearest town to MRL within touristic Cameron Highlands is Kampung Raja, a 20-min car ride from the lodge. Public transportation via bus from Kampung Raja to Tanah Rata or Brinchang for day exploration is available. It takes approximately 25 -45 minutes to get to these populated towns. There are Chinese, Malay and Indian restaurants and a Maybank here. Driving further in, you can visit the tea plantation and lavender & flower farm.
