Sarang Paloh is a heritage stay and event hall housed in the iconic OVERSEA BUILDING and YICK WOH Building, Ipoh. We take pride in being the result of a heritage restoration project in the heart of Ipoh Old Town. Our name is a tribute to the history of Ipoh. "Sarang" is the word for nest in Bahasa Malaysia – a symbol for a place of rest. Ipoh was fondly remembered as "Paloh" – a token to the dams that were constructed along the Kinta River for fishing purposes. Come and experience its glorious history dating back the 1930, timber flooring and beautiful high ceiling by spending a few nights at our nests or by holding an event at our beautiful hall.

Our hotel is located in old town within walking distance to all eateries we are just stroll away from Ipoh White coffee, coffee shops like Thean Chun, Nam Heong, Sin Yin Loong. Concubine Lane, Han Chin Pet Soo Museum " The Hakka Miners' Club"....The Ipoh Heritage Trail & Wall Murals are within the same neighbourhood...The train station is only 8 minutes by walk to the hotel....
