Sharing a common boundary with Etosha National Park, Ongava is considered one of the finest private game reserves in the region, enjoying global recognition for exceptional conservation, ground breaking research and exciting safari experiences. In 1991, several families invested in the future by turning four unproductive cattle ranches in Northern Namibia into a prolific 30,000-hectare private game reserve that is now a haven to large concentrations of wildlife. The Ongava Game Reserve has the closest access to the most productive area of Etosha.

Little Ongava is perched on the crest of a hill commanding magnificent vistas of the plains stretching for miles to the horizon. Arguably Namibia’s most luxurious accommodation, Little Ongava offers an extraordinary experience as the focal point of an Etosha journey. This intimate camp has only three spacious suites each with its own plunge pool, en-suite bathroom, “sala”, and outdoor shower. The lounge and dining areas have wonderful views of a productive waterhole below the camp, the open deck allowing for relaxed, stylish dining under the African sky. Guests at Little Ongava share a dedicated guide and vehicle, ensuring the best possible nature experience at one of Africa’s great wildlife destinations. Day and night wildlife-viewing drives, visiting hides overlooking waterholes, walks and rhino tracking with experienced guides can all be enjoyed exclusively on this reserve. Game drives and day trips into nearby Etosha National Park are also offered. Rates include all meals, scheduled camp activities and local drinks.

Etosha National Park is a national park in northwestern Namibia. Etosha National Park spans an area of 22,270 square kilometres (8,600 sq mi) and gets its name from the large Etosha pan which is almost entirely within the park. The Etosha pan (4,760 square kilometres (1,840 sq mi)) covers 23% of the area of the total area of the Etosha National Park.[2] The park is home to hundreds of species of mammals, birds and reptiles, including several threatened and endangered species such as the black rhinoceros.

Please provide relevant travel documents to verify kid’s ages. Children under 6 years old cannot be accommodated at Little Ongava. Kids between 6 and 12 must book and pay for private activities (subject to private vehicle availability at additional surcharge).

Minimum age for walking activities is 13 years. Child participation in activities may vary depending on the camp and activity.

ALL-INCLUSIVE includes accommodation, all meals, twice daily scheduled camp activities, park fees, all local drinks and laundry. Excluded from the rate are premium imported brands and champagne, gratuities, curio purchases and any other items of a personal nature.
