The B&B is located in a beautiful art deco house built in 1935, in the residential Villapark of Maastricht just outside the city centre. Our B&B rooms are very comfortable, quiet and nicely decorated with a beautiful parquet wooden floor. The rooms are allergy free and have all the amenities to make your stay a comfortable one, including air conditioning with air filter. There are all kinds of lovely little restaurants and breakfast cafés just arond the corner, and the green countryside starts at the end of our street. There is free coffee and tea in the room, plates and everything else you need such as a refrigerator and an oven/microwave, so it is easy to make yourself a lovely breakfast, snack or light meal. And the abolute top feature of our B&B: we offer a bike free of use to each and every guest!! No reservation needed.
My name is Ingrid. I live with my husband Rense in our beautiful art deco house. I work at home as a film translator and I love to welcome guests from all over the world into our house. I like to make everybody feel at home and I really enjoy introducing our guests to all the beautiful features our city and the area around us have to offer. I specially like to share the perfect little restaurant or place to be that only insiders know.
We live in a small friendly neighbourhood called St. Pieter bordering the city centre at the foot of our 'mountain' the Pietersberg. We have our own little shopping centre to stock up on anything you need, and there are several perfect little breakfast café's and restaurants in the streets around us. The area is safe, quiet and green. On your free bike you are in 7 minutes on the Vrijthof, the absolute centre of the city. Walking distance is less than 10 minutes. At the end of our street starts the hilly green countryside with vineyards, woods and little rivers. You can bike and walk endlessly. Belgium is only three kilometres away. We offer the best of both worlds: A quiet green living environment and city life just around the corner.
