Our little cosy houseboatstudio is the best way to experience the Amsterdam way of living. In the morning you can sit on the watersideterrace enjoying the ducks and boats floating by with a nice cup of coffee or tea. The studio has a kitchen with refrigerator,microwave,nespressomachine,milk frother,kettle, toaster and all other nescessities like cuttlery,glasses etc. You will be able to make small cold meals (salads etc) to eat out on the deck or in our cute sittingarea. the bathroom has a rainshower,sink and toilet. we provide towels and bedlinnen. Through an open stairway you get to the upperlevel where there is a kingsize bed (1.60 by 2.00) The matrasses are high hotelquality. Next to the bed there is a sitting area with two comfy chairs and a small table. There is also a tv with 80 channels. The whole studio has central heating and also an airconditioner to make temperatures to your liking. You have your own private entrance and even though the deck will be shared with the owners, we can guarantee complete privacy. The wifi is very strong because we put a router in the studio. We provide two free bikes with the studio which is absolutely the best way to experience the beautifull city of Amsterdam. Our houseboat is situated in a residential houseboatcommunityarea of 40 diffrent kinds of houseboats which makes it an absolute amsterdam experience. Our studio is the best way to enjoy the hussle and bustle from the city and come home to a quiet and peacefull place and have a relaxing drink on the deck before going to bed. And if you fancy a dive into the canal,you can! The watersideterrace has poolstairs to get in and out of the water. The water is clean and refreshing. In the summer you will see the whole neighbourhood enjoing the water. We decorated our gueststudio with the love and attention as if it was our home and we hope you will apreciate it as much as we do. Living like a local! We are Lone and Eric and we live on the houseboat since 2002. We are both active in the cultural sector. We have been enjoying our houseboatlife for over 20 years now and we still wake up realizing how special it is to live at a place like this. We love to see our guests having a good time and always try to make them feel welcome and comfortable. Eric is a born and raised citizen of Amsterdam and Lone lived here for nearly 40 years. So we know a thing or two about our city. We have been renting out the studio since 2016 now and still enjoy the interaction with people from all diffrent backgrounds. But we will always respect your privacy!
