Our holiday home is located in a beautiful spot at the edge of a meadow, just a short walk from the charming historic center of Zierikzee. You can easily park on the private driveway right in front of the house. Coming by bike? You can safely store it in the hallway, where a charging station for electric bikes is also available. Upon entering the hallway, you’ll find practical storage space, an infrared sauna for ultimate relaxation, and a washer-dryer combination—ideal for a longer stay. The living room has been carefully furnished to create a warm and homely atmosphere. Enjoy the comfortable seating area with a television, the spacious dining table for cozy meals, and the stylish coffee and tea station for any time of day. The kitchen is fully equipped with modern appliances, including a refrigerator, a 4-burner stove, an oven, and a dishwasher. The house features two tasteful bedrooms, each with its own en-suite bathroom. This makes it the perfect place to stay with friends or family while ensuring everyone has their own privacy and comfort. If you book for two people, one bedroom will remain closed.

We are Michiel and Natasja Tamerus, a web developer and a geriatric physiotherapist. In our free time, we are often found on the football field with our children or working on DIY projects. Sitting still is not for us! After renovating two houses, we were eager to start a new project. In 2021, the idea arose to build an additional house in our garden. Initially, this house was intended for holiday rentals, but we also see potential for the future, such as a care home or a home for our children. In 2022, we started building Blok 25 together with a local contractor. After two years of hard work, Blok 25 turned out exactly as we envisioned. We are proud to share it with others and are excited that the holiday home is ready for rental!

Our holiday home at Lange Blokweg 25 in Zierikzee is located on the beautiful island of Schouwen-Duiveland, a place where nature, history, and culture come together. With the North Sea, the Oosterschelde National Park, and the Grevelingenmeer nearby, it’s a paradise for beach lovers, water sports enthusiasts, and hikers. The nearby Westerschouwen Forest, the largest forest in Zeeland, offers beautiful walking and cycling routes through dunes and woods. For bird watchers, Plan Tureluur is a must, where you can spot unique bird species. Cultural highlights are also abundant. Visit the Plompe Tower, a remnant of the sunken village of Koudekerke, or the impressive Flood Museum in Ouwerkerk. The beaches of Schouwen-Duiveland are also within easy reach. Here, you can relax, enjoy the fresh sea breeze, or get active with water sports. Renesse, a popular seaside resort, offers cozy terraces and lively boulevards. Whether you want to cycle, hike, sail, or fish, there’s always something to do. Local markets, festivals, and culinary events add to the atmosphere.
