This well-maintained and very clean chalet is located in the heart of the Maasrijk Blitterswijck woods. It's a very cool place to stay in the summer and the perfect starting point for nature walks. On a rainy day, the chalet offers plenty of space to play games, and of course, there's fast fiber-optic Wi-Fi, internet, and TV connections to make it a real treat! There are 3 bedrooms. Please note: duvets and pillows are provided, but you need to bring your own bed linen and towels. The kitchen is equipped with a gas stove, coffee maker, kettle, microwave, refrigerator with freezer, and all kitchen utensils are provided, except for tea towels and hand towels. There are 2 bathrooms, one with a shower and one with a bathtub. A small terrace and lush greenery, squirrels, and birds all around make the chalet a true haven of relaxation and tranquility! In recent years, the surrounding nature reserve has been accessible to hikers and is very popular with bird lovers. You might even spot the spoonbill, golden oriole, kingfisher, and even the osprey on a walk. Roe deer and herds of Hereford cattle also roam freely in the 600-hectare area, which consists of lakes, forests, trails, and, of course, the Meuse River. In the nearby village, the hustle and bustle of the city is far away. On the village square, it's wonderful to relax on the terrace of Café de Zwart, and there's even an Italian pizzeria. The bicycle ferry on the Meuse River takes you directly to De Maasduinen National Park or the Castle Gardens in Arcen, but not before enjoying the view from the terrace of Restaurant Tante Jet.
