Take a seat on the comfortable seating furniture, let your gaze wander over the church, the surrounding mountains and the Hardangerfjord and enjoy the special atmosphere. Surrounded by steep mountains, green valleys and orchards, you will find a wide variety of nature experiences, cultural activities and local food traditions. Ulvik is also home to Norway's only fruit and cider route, where you can visit farms, taste local cider and learn more about fruit growing in Hardanger. Shops, restaurants and a playground are all within walking distance. The fjord offers good fishing from the shore. Just outside the centre there is also a sports field and a recreation area with a sandy beach and barbecue hut. The surrounding area offers many hiking opportunities. You can also take a trip to Voss with its many leisure activities and a wide range of shops in the pedestrianised area. Accommodation is not suitable for groups of young people.
