Take the short walk down to the fjord with good swimming and fishing opportunities from the shore or explore the surrounding area on foot. Hire a kayak or a boat with or without a motor for trips on the water. Visit the Ryvarden cultural lighthouse. The small island on which the lighthouse is located juts out into the sea. he Rex Garden, a park with thousands of rhododendrons, is also worth a visit Culture enthusiasts can head to Haugesund and experience exciting Viking culture and a charming, historic town centre. Viking chieftains ruled here for hundreds of years. It is only a short drive to Sveio with its shops, golf course, spa facilities and fitness centre. You can also hire a rowing boat on the nearby fresh water. Accommodation is not suitable for groups of young people.
