The nearest town is Notodden (44 km), where you can experience the Notodden Blues Festival or take a trip to Kongsberg, where a jazz festival is held every summer. You can go shopping and eat out about 7 km away. In winter it is only about 300 meters to the ski slope and about 1.5 km to the nearest ski lift (ski-in/out). Rental only for holiday lets.
