.. Set in the majestic village of Reine, Catogården is a newly renovated, three-story boutique home including a kayak centre, yoga- and fitness studio with 10 unique rooms featuring beautiful mountain and sea views. 

 At the property you can enjoy some of Lofoten's most iconic mountain view, while unwinding the day in our luxurious wood fired Hot tub or Nordic sauna. We are a eco-friendly home and promote positive, sustainable living. 

 Each room has been individually designed with a different colour ranging in price and size to suit different budgets. The beds here are fluffy, inviting you to feel at home, laid-back and comfortable while enjoying the beautiful views of the fjords, Reine or the famous Reinebringen. We also encourage guests to make the most of our veranda equipped with hammocks to chill out and a small lounge area; being an ideal place to catch some summer sunshine :-) If it is too cold for the veranda we have a fireplace where you can roast marshmallow over the fire. Runhild is a norwegian actress, kayak instructor, ordinary sailor, rescue diver, yoga teacher and mother of Sverre ..who grew up in Reine. As the owner and founder of Catogården she has opened her house to share it with adventurous travellers and kind spirits: "I wanted to make a fusion of your nordic dreams .. A blend of local lifestyle, experience and adventures, but also a quiet space – just to be: A human in a homely atmosphere.  I want to share what I love the most – the true Lofoten. Reine is most famously known for the red stilted fisherman houses lined up along the shoreline. Nestled in between the fjords and most popular peak Reinebringen, it is a top destination for photographers.
