Although you’re right in the heart of Bergen, the street is peaceful and free from traffic noise. The home has recently been updated with a brand-new kitchen, heated floors, and fresh surfaces throughout. The bathroom is older, but fully functional – always thoroughly cleaned, and the shower curtain is washed between every stay. While compact, the apartment is cleverly designed to make the most of the space. It’s ideal for two guests, but the sofa converts into a bed, allowing up to four people (for example, two adults and two children). The building dates from around 1900, so expect a bit of quirky charm – slanted walls, small rooms, and a steep, traditional Bergen staircase leading to the second floor. If you're looking for modern luxury, this may not be for you – but if you value atmosphere, authenticity, and location, you’ll feel right at home. Perfect for exploring Bergen on foot, the area is close to everything. The Aquarium, Nordnes Park, and the public seawater pool are just minutes away. A 10-minute walk takes you to the Fish Market, Bryggen, and the Fløibanen funicular. You’ll also find cafés, galleries, and local shops nearby. Though you're right in the historic heart of the city, it’s quiet and relaxing – a perfect place to unwind after a day of sightseeing.
