The fishing opportunities are particularly good both in the fjord and in the mountain lakes in the area. On the large terrace you can enjoy the long summer evenings. The way to Prekestolen and the Lysefjord is not far. The little ones (and probably the slightly older ones) would be deeply pleased with a day at the Kongeparken amusement park. Also recommended is a day trip to Stavanger with first class restaurants, stores and the Norwegian Petroleum Museum.
