Totally renovated in 2021 and appears modern and functional. There is an easy road to the cabin in both summer and winter and parking for 2 cars. Canoe for 4 people that can be used in Ekeidalsvatnet. It is 5 minutes from a local shop, 15 minutes from Norheimsund, 50 minutes from the center of Bergen, 1 hour from Jondal, 1.5 hours from Voss and at the entrance to Hardanger, which offers many fine attractions. Hiking, fishing, skiing, bathing opportunities and many attractions close by. We recommend that you bring some water for drinking as the water is from a well and there are no control-measured values ​​for this per time. The cabin is located in an area with close access to Eikedalsvannet directly below. Here you can swim, fish, canoe and enjoy yourself. The surrounding area is very nice both in winter and summer and here you can ski in the winter in the 3 ski resorts here and in the summer it is an extremely nice hiking area with many wonderful mountains and the area you can walk on. There are marked hiking trails and other easily accessible hikes here. There are also many mountain lakes with lots of fish (mountain trout) where you can try your luck at fishing.
