IMPORTANT: Final cleaning is included in the price for this cabin. Bed linen and towels can be rented for NOK 150 per person. Pets are allowed for an additional fee of NOK 100 per night. There is an automatic toll gate on the road to the cabin (NOK 60 per passage in 2023). ABOUT THE CABIN: Cabin for rent in Uvdal. Thorpeseth is beautifully located in the mountains at 950 meters above sea level, offering a fantastic view. Thorpeseth consists of 3 bedrooms and a loft, with a total capacity of 8 people. The cabin has a fully equipped kitchen, a living room with a fireplace and wood stove, as well as a bathroom. You can enjoy the view from the terrace or relax with a book in the living room. BEDROOMS: Bedroom 1: 2 single beds. Bedroom 2: Family bunk bed. Bedroom 3: Bunk bed. Bedroom 4: Double bed (150 cm) + one single mattress. Bedroom 4 is a loft without standing height and is best suited for children. Please note: You must pass through bedroom 3 to access the bathroom.

Right outside the door, you’ll find cross-country ski trails in the winter and hiking paths in the summer and autumn. The surrounding area also offers excellent fishing and cycling opportunities for the whole family. The popular Langedrag Nature Park, home to around 300 wild animals including wolves, lynx, arctic foxes, wild boars, and reindeer, is located just 40 km from the cabin. In Nore and Uvdal, you’ll also find several unique stave churches and other historic churches. This municipality is part of a National Park area, and parts of Hardangervidda National Park lie within its borders. So here, you have great opportunities for both an active and culturally rich holiday.
