This family-run property is on Dagalifjell Mountain, 1,040 metres above sea level. It offers free Wi-Fi and en-suite accommodation options with kitchen facilities. Uvdal Alpine Ski Centre is 5.5 km away. All accommodation options at Torsetlia Cottages & Apartments feature a seating area with sofa and TV. Many have a private terrace with mountain views and cottages feature a private sauna. Kitchen facilities include an electric cooker, a dishwasher and a dining area. Torsetlia Fjellstue and Hyttegrend is located from 1040 m.o.h. on Dagalifjell in Uvdal, Hardangervidda east, at the top of Numedal. The place is owned and run by Guri and Reino Skjøtskift, who have run the place for almost 40 years. Torsetlia was established in 1963 by Jenny and Halvor Rennehvammen and it all started with a cafeteria and camping cabins. A lot of exciting things have happened since then. Today, Torsetlia has a normal capacity of around 100 beds in hotel rooms, studio apartments, 2-room apartments, as well as cabins with and without an outdoor hot tub. The staff at Torsetlia have good local knowledge and offer short-distance food within the receptions opening hours and personal service in a homely environment where everyone should enjoy themselves. We are happy to help tailor the area's best activities to give you the best memories and experiences.
In winter, the area is fantastic for cross-country skiing in the high mountains with trails right outside the door. Several alpine slopes and Norway's longest toboggan run is avaiable by car not far from us. In summer, the area has good marked hiking trails, nearby fishing lakes, nice bike paths, as well as the opportunity for berry picking and swimming in mountain lakes.
