The house features seven bedrooms with 13 beds and two bathrooms. At its heart is a grand dining hall with a fireplace and a long table that seats up to 20 guests. The hall has an open layout connected to the large kitchen, which is fully equipped and ideal for cooking together. The open Hunting Lodge with a fireplace and library invites you to relax and unwind, no matter the weather.​ The house opens onto a private terrace and garden area with seating, barbecue facilities, and a beautiful view of the river, meadows, and forest. Both the indoor and outdoor spaces offer multiple zones designed for shared experiences as well as private moments of peace. Combined with excellent facilities, this ensures a comfortable and enjoyable stay for all. Medbørød Farm is the perfect place for relaxation. For those who seek activity, there are plenty of opportunities, no matter your age or interest. Just 200 meters from the farm flows the river, where you can try your luck fishing for trout, perch, and pike. The large grassy lawns around the farm invite ball games and play, and the area offers several swimming options, whether you want to dip in the lake or small ponds, or try the natural pool in the waterfall. ​With the forest as your neighbor, there is abundant wildlife and stunning nature experiences right outside the door. The forest's pantry offers mushrooms, berries, and plants, and from the farm you have easy access to the Vestfjella Nature Reserve, with great fishing and beautiful hiking trails through protected, ancient forests. Medbørød is also an excellent base for exploring everything the region has to offer, both in Norway and Sweden.

Marthe Lie and Magnus Syversen live at Medbørød Farm with their three children, Halvor, Margrethe, and Vegard. The farm is also home to a dog, cats, and a small herd of Old Norwegian Spælsau sheep. The forest surrounding Medbørød offers a beautiful and varied landscape, with spruce and pine forests, open bogs, small ponds, and lakes. The area is rich in bird and wildlife, with excellent opportunities to spot roe deer, moose, and deer. ​A particularly beautiful part of the area is the Vestfjella Nature Reserve, one of the best-preserved forest areas in the region. Vestfjella offers fantastic hiking trails through protected primeval forest, as well as idyllic fishing lakes where you can catch large trout and perch. Hiking in Vestfjella gives a strong sense of peace and untouched wilderness. Medbørød Gård is an excellent starting point to experience both Norway and Sweden. Just a few kilometers away, you’ll find Femsjøen and the Halden Canal, offering activities like fishing, canoeing, and ferry rides. Visit Brekke, home to Northern Europe's highest locks, where you can also challenge yourself with a Via Ferrata climb. The nearest town is Halden, where the majestic fortress is definately worth a visit.​ The Swedish west coast, Bohuslän Coast, is only 30 minutes away and is known for its stunning archipelago.
