We recently decided that we'd like to host guests on our floor as we have a spare room that would be best for upto 2 guests. This is for an authentic homestay for guests who can spend time with us and get to observe the culture firsthand. We can talk over tea, go short hikings, tell you about places to vist and ideas. We can prepare meals (only vegeterian) for you and we can all dine together in our kitchen or if you wish we can provide recommendations.
Talk about religion, philosophy and languages. A graduate in informatics. My hobbies: Travel, Science, Computer programming, Learning foreign languages, Hiking
Our place is one of the popular western suburbs of Kathmandu downtown. It is 1.2miles from Kalanki (ringroad). 7miles from the Tribhuvan International Airport. 2.5miles from Swoyambhunath, a UNESCO world heritage site. It's hilly area which is a elevated and can give view of the whole valley. There is open space, few traffic though well connected with public transportation, fresh air and peaceful environment which you'd wish as soon as you are in Kathmandu. This is gateway to interesting hikes to Chandragiri, Chitlang, Champadevi, Switzerland park and nearby small hilltops. This place is also near to the gateway to go West of the country e.g. Pokhara, Chitwan, Lumbini, Jomson etc.
