Annapurna Eco-village is composed of several cottages made of split stone with slate roofs. Each room is spacious and has comfortable beds to give you a good night's sleep. The ensuite bathroom with a western toilet ensures you can stay fresh when it’s hot outside, and warm up in the winter. The cottages are set amongst an eco-farm within a traditional Nepali village.
The backdrop is the majestic Annapurna redone with a slate roof. Each room is spacious and has comfortable beds to give you a good night's sleep. The Annapurna Eco-village is a perfect base for bird watching, butterfly photography, walks to traditional villages or treks to the Annapurna Base Camp or Mardi Himal. The perfect place away from the noisy and polluted city where you can do some meditation, yoga, read a book or just relax in the serene surroundings.
You can trek to Armala and Lwang Ghalel (Gurung villages) from the eco-village.
This takes about 5 hours & you can stay overnight with a Nepalese family.
Visit the tea gardens whilst you are there. Return to Astam or direct to Pokhara.
Start or finish your trek to Annapurna Base Camp or Poon hill from the eco-village.
