Bedroom 1 is a very spacious Queen bedroom with an ensuite and a set of single bunks. Bedroom 2 features a Queen bed and a cot for the little one. Bedroom 3 has a queen bed and a single bunk. There are electric blankets and an extra duvet on all beds for those winter nights. For family entertainment there is a games room with a pool table, TV and DVD, a lounge and dining suite and access to the BBQ and back yard. The property is dog friendly too and provides a dog shed, armchairs and a single bed. There is also a run located on the rear of the garage. Dogs are permitted in the games room but not inside the rest of the house. Please make sure that your dog's vaccinations and worming are current. This protects your dog as well as others to follow. With just an easy 5 min stroll to the town you can leave your car parked up and explore Hanmer on foot with both the dog stream walkways and town centre on your doorstep. Hanmer Springs is a lovely small village set in an alpine environment on the edge of the Southern Alps in the South Island of New Zealand. The village is located at an altitude of approximately 400 metres (1300 feet). This provides a crisp clear climate, with snow falling during winter on several occasions. The geothermal nature of the area has provided the beautiful Thermal Springs Reserve in which to relax, and it is second to none other in New Zealand. The combination of the colder climate and the thermal pools normally sitting at 25-42 degrees Celsius, or 77-18 degrees Fahrenheit is both invigorating and relaxing. The lucky guests get to soak in the thermal pools when it is snowing (for no extra charge) - how lucky are they?
