This cute home was renovated in January 2012 and really is a hidden treasure. It is situated up a shared driveway and is only a hop, skip and a jump to the Hanmer forest walks and a leisurely stroll to the hot pools. The property is fully double glazed with an open plan lounge, dining and fully equipped kitchen area with a log fire to keep you cosy in winter and electric heaters for extra warmth if needed. There is also another fridge in the garage available for use if needed. The property is setup for all your entertainment needs and includes SKY (including Sky Sport), Chromecast, unlimited Wi-Fi and a DVD player plus board games and even colouring pencils for the kids. The master bedroom has a lovely queen sleigh bed with a good quality mattress and electric blanket. The second bedroom has one queen bed while the third has a single bed. The outdoor area is surrounded by a garden setting which also provides plenty of privacy and space for your children or pet to safely play as well as a pet flap suitable for a small dog. Please note: this home provides a wheelie bin for your rubbish requirements.

Hanmer Springs is a lovely small village set in an alpine environment on the edge of the Southern Alps in the South Island of New Zealand. The village is located at an altitude of approximately 400 metres (1300 feet). This provides a crisp clear climate, with snow falling during winter on several occasions. The geothermal nature of the area has provided the beautiful Thermal Springs Reserve in which to relax, and it is second to none other in New Zealand. The combination of the colder climate and the thermal pools normally sitting at 25-42 degrees Celsius, or 77-18 degrees Fahrenheit is both invigorating and relaxing. The lucky guests get to soak in the thermal pools when it is snowing (for no extra charge) - how lucky are they?
